General Procurement Notice for Enguri Hydro Power Plant Rehabilitation The extension will finance the fifth stage of the Enguri Hydro Power Plant rehabilitation including strengthening measures to the Enguri dam, repairs to the underground tunnel and penstock and other capital expenditures, increasing the overall production and enabling the long-term sustainability of the plant. The facility will consist of an extension to an existing loan made in 1998. The current extension will consist of up to EUR 28 million financing from the Bank. The proceeds will be on-lent to Engurhesi Ltd. The Project is expected to be co-financed by a EUR 7.05 million grant from the European Union Neighbourhood Investment Platform.
