The Object Of The Procurement Is The Medical Rehabilitation Physiotherapy Services That Are The Responsibility Of The Kymenlaakso Welfare Area. Kymenlaaksos Welfare Area Is Responsible For Planning Medical Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation And Treatment As Needed. Medical Rehabilitation Refers To Those Forms Of Health Care That Aim To Improve And Maintain The Physical, Psychological And Social Functioning Of The Rehabilitated Person. Physiotherapy Refers To Various Rehabilitation Measures, The Goal Of Which Is To Help A Person Achieve The Best Possible Recovery Of Function And Painlessness In Relation To Their Situation Through Physiotherapeutic Means. Physiotherapy Assesses The Clients Health, Mobility, Functional Capacity And Functional Limitations In His/Her Working Environment. The Acquired Physiotherapy Services Are Goal-Oriented And Participative In Nature, The Aim Of Which Is To Increase And Maintain Functional Capacity, And Active Therapeutic Exercise Is Emphasized In Physiotherapy. The Services Offered Include Research, Guidance, Assessment, Therapy, A Written Exercise Program (For The Client) And Written Therapy Feedback (For The Subscriber). Physiotherapy Methods Include Guidance And Counseling Promoting Health, Work And Functional Capacity, Therapeutic Exercise, Manual And Physical Therapy. Professional Requirements / Physiotherapy Offered Physiotherapists Must Have Completed A Degree As A Physiotherapist (Amk), Physiotherapist, Medical Gymnast Or Specialized Medical Gymnast. In Addition, The Offered Physiotherapists Must Have The Right Granted By The Social And Health Licensing And Supervision Agency (Valvira) To Practice Their Profession As A Licensed Professional. Depending On The Area, There May Be Other Requirements Regarding The Experience Or Additional Training Of The Physiotherapists. Physiotherapists For Children And Young People Must Either Have Acquired Competence Through Experience Or Additional Training In Working With Children And Young People. Professional Requirements / Podiatrical Physiotherapy Education Requirement: Offered Therapists Must Have Completed A Professional Qualification As A Physiotherapist (Amk), Medical Gymnast Or Specialist Gymnast And In Addition Training And Courses Related To Feet And Lower Limbs Or A Podiatrist ( Amk) Degree.
