Comparison Against Requirements Provided In The Drawings To Be Made By The Contractor. 3.1.14.#Calibration Of Tank By Eodr (Electro Optical Distance Ranging) Method By Authorized Party. 3.2.#Tank External Out Of Service Inspection: 3.1. 15.#The External Inspection Must Be Conducted By An Authorized Inspector. 3.1.16.#A Complete Visual Inspection Shall Be Performed To Identify Any Surface Defect. 3.1.17.#Check The Foundation, Shell, Accessories And Roof. 3.1.18.#The Observations Shall Concentrate On Leakage From Under The Bottom, Shell Settlement, Verticality, Shell Deformations (Flat Spots, Buckles Or Bulges), Corrosion Spots Etc. 3.1.19.#The Observations Should Include The Condition Of Paint Work, Safety Of Stairs, Platforms And Handrails And Proper Func Tioning Of Service Equipment. 3.1.20.#Inspection And Monitoring All Leak Detection Systems, Cathodic Protection Monitoring Eq Uipment Or Other Monitoring Or Warning Systems Which May Be In Place At The Facility. 3.1.21.#Wall Thickness Measurement To Be Done For Shell And Roof. A Suitable Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement Technique Shall Be Applied. 3.1.22.#When There Is Concern That There May Be Cracking In Welds Or In Other Parts Of The Tank Then The Defects Shall Be Verified By Applying An Appropriate Non-Destructiv E Testing Technique, E.G.
