Supply Of Cp-5.2 Steel Containers For Radioactive Waste And Steel Pallets For Drums (Cc-220 To Cc-440). In The Frame Of Its Nuclear Decommissioning And Waste Management Programme, The Jrc Ispra Has Designed And Qualified A Final Waste Package (Fwp) To Be Used For Conditioning Lowlevel And Very Lowlevel Solid Radioactive Waste. The Fwp Is Based On A Prismatic Container Made Of Carbon Steel, Referred As ‘Cp5.2’ According To The Uni Italian Standard. The Jrc Ispra Will Have To Acquire A Significant Amount Of Cp5.2 Containers In The Coming Years.Additional To The Supply Of The Cp5.2 Containers, The Jrc Ispra Needs To Purchase Adjustable Steel Pallets, In Order To Temporarily Store Cylindrical Containers (‘Cc220’ To ‘Cc440’) Containing Radioactive Waste.The Fwps And The Pallets Are To Be Safely Stored In The Interim Storage Facility Of The Jrc Ispra. Ultimately, The Fwps Will Be Transferred To The Italian Final Repository.The Purpose Of The Tendering Procedure Is To Purchase The Cp5.2 Containers And The Pallets By Means Of A Multiannual Framework Contract.
