Centennial College&Rsquo;S (Cc) Current Tools To Attract, Recruit And Retain Part-Time Learners Do Not Reflect Or Fully Support The Present Or Future Needs Of The College. Due To Its Age, The Current System Creates Technical And User Issues. Previously These Issues Were Addressed Using Temporary Measures, However These Fixes Cannot Evolve To Meet Ongoing Business Needs (Appendix A: Current Ptl Student Journey).Consequently, A Study Was Conducted By A Third-Party Consultant (&Ldquo;Consultants&Rdquo;) To Investigate Part-Time Learning (Ptl) Webreg/Ecommerce Platform&Rsquo;S Technical Needs And Examine Higher Education Trends, With The Goal Of Improving Enrolment, And Offering Entrepreneurial Opportunities For Innovation. More Specifically, The Study Identified Requirements And Gaps Based On The Needs And Challenges Of Ptl. In Addition, The Consultants Provided An Ecosystem Target Architecture, Which Included Recommendations For Integration, Leveraging Of Existing Systems, And Development Of A New Part-Time Learning Eco-System (Appendix B: Full Target Architecture &Ndash; Webreg & Ecommerce).Centennial College Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Proponents For A Fully Integrated Online Ptl Webreg/Ecommerce Platform Solution. This Will Include:Leveraging Current Systems, Including The Required Changes To Facilitate Integration With The New Solutionreplacing The College'S Current Continuing Education Webreg System (Ce Webreg) Which Includes Catalogue, Registration And E-Commerce Functionality.More Detailed Requirements Are Outlined In Schedule F: Ptl Webreg/Ecommerce Platform Requirements.Centennial College Envisions The Proponent To Select Software Products And Have A System Integrator To Lead The Implementation Through A Phased Approach. The Implementation Consists Of The Proposed Software Solutions And Integrations, And Any Other Directly Related Work.This New Ptl Webreg/Ecommerce Platform Will Include A Connection To The Content Management System, Dashboard, And Analytics. The Solution Will Integrate With Centennial College&Rsquo;S Ellucian Banner And Ethos Systems To Ensure A Single Source Of Truth For The Learner Record. It Is Intended That The Webreg/Ecommerce Platform Will Provide Opportunities To Engage With Employers And Their Employees In The Context Of Contract Training (See Appendix E &Ndash; Functionality Based On Student Roles). It Will Support The Future Of Part-Time Learning Through Adapting To Changes In The Credential Landscape, Marketing, Recruitment And Retention Strategies For Domestic And International Enrolment.
