You Must Register As An Interested Vendor To Download The Electronic File. ***************************************************************************************** Overview: The Department Of Public Transit (Operating Under The Name Codiac Transpo) Is Responsible For The Delivery Of Public Transit Services Within The City Of Moncton, The Town Of Riverview And The City Of Dieppe. Although Riverview And Dieppe Each Fund And Retain Ownership Of Their Buses, And Have Full Authority Over The Design Of Their Respective Systems, The General Public Views Codiac Transpo As One (1) Seamless System. The Purpose Of This Request For Qualifications (Rfq) Is To Pre-Qualify Vendors That Will Be Permitted To Submit A Bid / Proposal In Response To A Future Tendering Opportunity For The Supply And Delivery Of Various Clothing Items Required By Codiac Transpo Bus Operators. Through The Pre-Qualification And Bidding Process, The City Hopes To Be Able To Establish A Long-Term Supply Agreement With One (1) Or More Vendors That Are Capable Of Supplying Most Or All Of The Clothing Items Required By Codiac Transpo Bus Operators Throughout The Year. Tender Documents For The Supply And Delivery Of Various Clothing Items For Codiac Transpo Bus Operators Will Only Be Provided To The Pre-Qualified Vendors Determined By The Evaluation Process Described In This Rfq Document. At The Present Time, Codiac Transpo Employs Fifty-Six (56) Permanent Bus Operators, And Fourteen (14) Casual Bus Operators. In 2023, Each Operator Will Be Allotted A Uniform Clothing Allowance Of $543.09 Under The Terms Of Their Collective Agreement. Clothing Items Permitted To Be Worn By Codiac Transpo Bus Operators Include, But Are Not Limited To, Such Items As: - Dress Shirts - Golf Shirts - Pants - Sweaters - Various Types Of Jackets (I.E. Rain Jacket, Winter Jacket) - Vests - Various Types Of Accessories (I.E. Clip-On Ties, Belts, Socks, Sunglasses, Ballcaps, Toques, Sneakers, Hiking Boots, Ice Cleats And Bus Seat Covers) Eligibility Of Proponents: Proposals Will Be Considered From Established Commercial / Institutional Clothing Distributors And / Or Manufacturers With Proven, Demonstrable Expertise In The Supply Of Commercial / Institutional Clothing Items, That Have Been In Business For Not Less Than Three (3) Years, And Can Provide A Minimum Of Three (3) Client References.
