The Contractor Should Ensure That All Components Are Suitable For The System Operating Parameters And Conditions. All Work Requiring A Shutdown Of The Cooling Towers To Be Completed In The Shoulder Seasons, When The Demand Is At Its Lowest. Deficiencies Include, But Are Not Limited To, Hot Water Basin Leaks, Defective Pressure Regulating Valves, Collapsed Wet-Deck Fills, Inappropriate Bearings, Lack Of Vibration Protection And Motor In Bad Condition. At This Moment, The Fills Are Sagging Down Thus Causing Gaps, Resulting In Excessive Spray Of Waters Droplets, Loss Of Efficiency And Excessive Consumption Of Water And Chemicals. As Reports Suggest, The Temperature Rating Of The Fills In The Past (2012) Was Not Properly Chosen For The Water Temperature Of A Heat Recovery Plant (High Condensed Water Temperature). The Consultant Shall Perform An In-Depth Investigation To Identify All Cooling Tower Issues. This Project Will Oversee The Replacement Of The Fills With Correct Temperature Ratings And Installation, Repairing The Hot Water Basin Spray System (Nozzles) And All Other Deficiencies. Reports Detailing The Cooling Tower #1 Deficiencies Are Available For Reference. Work Shall Be Done In Shoulder Seasons, When The Load Is At Its Lowest. Shutdown Shall Be Coordinated With Building Operations.This Project Consists Of Installing A Cooling Tower Basin Sweeper Piping System That Will Dislodge The Sediments On The Basin Surface And Prevent Future Buildup. The System Will Require A Separator/Filtration System To Remove The Pollutants And Dirt From The Water. The Following Considerations Shall Be Taken When Exploring Solutions For This Project:
