Work Detail

General Description Of Work: Provide Maintenance Services To Include Mowing Of All Areas Within The Right-Of-Way As Well As Trimming Vegetation Of Areas That Cannot Be Reached With Conventional Tractor Mowers. This Work Will Include But Is Not Limited To Under And Around Guardrails, Utility Structures, Sign Posts, Storm Drainage Structures, Between Curbing And Ditch Slopes, Along Concrete Joints, Etc. This Work Includes Maintaining The Vegetation On Embankments And Down Slopes As Well As Medians Located Within The Right-Of-Way. The Medians Must Be Mowed Using "Zero Tum Radius Mowers." This Scope Of Work Will Include (Mowing With A Boom Axe Mower) From The Edge Of The Existing Road To The Right-Of-Way Property Line. Typical Equipment To Perform This Work Should Include Tractor Mowers, Boom Axe Mowers, Riding And Push Mowers, Hand Trimmers, Edgers, Blowers And Other Hand Tools. Use Of Chemical Treatment Is Not Acceptable. Contractor Will Remove All Litter, Trash, Broken Limbs, And Twigs Immediately Prior To Each Cycle. Contractor Shall Properly Dispose All Items The Same Day - No Bags/Trash Are Shall Be Left Overnight. Page 5 All Curbs Will Be Trimmed To Remove Any Grass Growing Over The Face Of The Curb. Grass Clippings Shall Be Removed From The Roadway And Curb Upon Completion Of Work. Commencement And Completions Work Shall Begin On March 1, 2023 And With The Final Cycle Beginning On November 1, 2023.
