During The Pm/Load Test Inspection, We Have Found T He Crane Wire Rope In Damaged Condition At Service Tunnel-4 / South & Service Tunnel-5 / South Location. The Same Needs To Be Repla Ced With The New Wire Rope To Bring Back Crane To Normal Condition. The Eot Crane Details Are Given Below. In Such Cases, Contractor Shall Not Claim Extra Compensation , As It Will Be Deemed To Be Part Of The Scope Of Work. ·# The Contractor Should Submit The Time Schedule /Bar Chart Indicating Eac H Activity. ·#On Completion Of The Work, The Inspection Checklist Of Quality Procedures, Wherever Applicable Should Be Filled In An D Submitted. ·#Site Supervision, Co-Ordination Of Field Activities, Supply Of Required Technicians, Tools, Equipments, Tackles Etc. Required For Execution Of The Contract Works Shall Be Suitably Considered. 3.0#Scope Of Work: The Scope Of Work Includes The Fo Llowing Ø#Supply, Installation, Testing Of New Wire Rope Of Eot Crane. Ø#The Existing Damage Wire Rope Removal And Replacement Act Ivities. Ø#The Eot Crane Functional Test Needs To Be Done. Ø#After The Installation, The Crane Load Test Needs To Be Done In Coord Ination With Client. Ø#The Documents And Reports Need To Be Submitted For All The Activities. 4.0#Facilities Provided By Dewa: The Following Facilities Shall Be Provided By Dewa, Free Of Charge To The Contractor, Limited To The Scope Of Work Under This Contr Act. ·#Electricity And Water At One Convenient Point In The Plant. It Is The Responsibility Of The Contractor To Have His Own Arra Ngement In Extending The Electricity And Water Utility To His Places Of Work. For Any Bulk Storage Of Water, Contractor Should Make His Own Arrangement For Storage Tanks Etc. [Note: The Contractor However Is Required To Furnish In Advance His Requirement Of Powe R And Water With Full Justification Contractor Shall Not Waste Or Misuse The Facilities Provided By Dewa]. 5.0#Facilities Provided By Contactor: The Following Shall Be Provided By The Contractor As Part Of The Contract Work. ·#Required Supervisory, Skilled, Sem I-Skilled And Unskilled Work Force In Order To Carryout The Contract Work. ·#Hand And Powered Tools, Inspection Tools, Material Hand Ling Facilities, Alignment Jigs And Fixtures, Inspection Tools, Machinery Maintenance Tools, Hydraulic Jacks, Building Of Temporary Scaffolding/Platforms, Etc. The Contractor At His Own Cost Shall Arrange Materials Required For Scaffolding/Platforms. ·#Access Lad Ders, Hand And Working Lamps, Temporary Supports, Cleaning Agents, Consumable, Etc. ·#Contractor Shall Arrange Required Lubricants, Replacement Parts, Fasteners. ·#Personal Safety And Protection Equipment, First Aid Kit And Transport Facility To His Staff At Site. In General, The Contractor Shall Arrange All Items Of Tools, Accessories, Consumable, Hoses, Cables, Distribution Boards, Etc., Ot Her Than The Facilities Provided By Dewa. 6.0#Permission To Work At Site: The Contractor Should Submit The Following Particulars For Dewa To Issue Temporary Entry Passes For Them Valid Up To The Period Of Contract Work. ·#List Of His Staff Proposed To Be Engag Ed On The Job With Designation, Xerox Copy Of Their Passport, Visa And Emirates Id Copies. For Vehicle Drivers, Xerox Copy Of Their Driving License To Be Attached. 7.0#Warranty: ·#The Warranty (12Months) For Materials And Workmanships Will Take Effect Fr Om The Date Of Takeover By Dewa Of The Job Carried Out By The Contractor. ·#When A Defect Is Noticed During The Period Of Warranty, The Contractor Must Rectify The Defect Within A Reasonable Amount Of Time Fixed By Dewa With No Claim Or Compensation. ·#Whenever Any Material Or Consumable Required For Execution Of The Contract Works Is Brought In To Dewa Premises, Such Items Of Materials Shou Ld Be Well Described In Proper Delivery Notes With Correct Quantity Which Shall Be Inspected By Dewa Engineers Upon Arrival At Site And Certified.
