The Project Generally Consists Of The Following Major Items: The Project Location Is At The Intersection Of Hickory Log Drive And Reservoir Drive In The City Of Canton. The Proposed Improvements Consist Of The Following: 1. The Construction Of A 150 Northbound Left-Turn On Reservoir Drive At The Intersection Of Hickory Log Drive To Provide For Left Turn Movements Into The Existing Apartment Complex. 2. The Construction Of A 500 Right-Turn Lane On Reservoir Drive At The Intersection Of Hickory Log Drive To Provide For Right Turn Movements Onto Hickory Log Drive. 3. Converting The Shared Hickory Log Drive Westbound Left/Thru Lane To Left-Turn Only And Westbound Right-Turn Lane To Shared Thru/Right-Turn Lane. 4. The Construction Of A Traffic Signal At The Intersection Of Hickory Log Drive And Reservoir Road. 5. Minor Drainage Improvements. 6. Signage And Striping. The Add/Alternate Project Scope Includes The Following: 1. Full Depth Removal/Replacement Of Approximately 600 Linear Feet Of The Existing Northbound Travel Lanes (24 Wide) Of Reservoir Drive At The Hickory Log Drive Intersection. The Existing Roadway Section Adjacent To The Based Bid Work Area Has A Significant Amount Of Existing Cracking/Alligatoring Of The Pavement. 2. Full Depth Removal/Replacement Of A Quadrant Of The Intersection Of Reservoir Drive And Hickory Log Drive In Lieu Of The Mill/Overlay Shown In The Base Bid. 3. As Directed Quantities For The Potential Construction Of A New Storm Drainage Outfall Line, If It Is Determined That It Is Required Within The Work Area.
