Facilitie S By Dewa: 1.# There Will Be One Dewa Engineer For Contractor Liaison And Will Support For Technical And Non-Technical Security, A R Egistration & Management Issues. 2.# Site Survey & Spot Measurements (Upon Request) Of Pipes & All Attachments Is To Be Done By Supp Liers. 3.# Dewa Engineers Shall Be Contacted At Any Time In Office Hours (07:30 ~ 15:30) For Any Queries And Doubts Incase Of Urgent Any Time Beyond Office Hours Even During Holidays And Off-Days. 4. Coordination With Other Department And Seeking Line Clear Ance. 5. Scaffoldings As Per Requirement. 6. Water, Electricity And Compressed Air. 7. Crane/Forklift With Operator Shall Be P Rovided By Dewa As Required For The Work. These Requirements Shall Be Properly Planned And Requested For One Day In Advance In Wri Ting. However, Any Delay In Providing These Facilities Due To Failure To Apply In Time Or Due To Short Period (Few Hours) Shall Not Be Reasons For Delay In Execution. 8. No Office Space Will Be Provided By Dewa. On Application With Relevant Particulars Will Provide Suitable Place. Facilities By The Contractor: 1.# The Contractor Shall Provide Adequate Number Of Technical Qualified Sta Ff And Supervisors On Site Having Minimum Of Three Years Prior Experience On Piping Job To Ensure Proper And Timely Completion Of Wo Rk. 2. The Contractor Shall Also Nominate One Responsible Person As Project Engineer Who Shall Liaison With The Owner On All Matters Pertaining To The Contract And Who Will Be Available At Site All Throughout The Working Hours. 3. Contractor Sho Uld Be Certified For Fire Fighting Job. 5. All Applicable Equipment And Tools Should Have Valid Test Certificate From 3Rd Par Ty Licensed Certifying Agencies. 6. Including All, The Followings Shall Be Arranged By The Contractor As Part Of The Contract Work. A.#Removal Of Existing Pipe Line From The Location. B.#Keep All Old & Removed Pipe Line In Designated Area. C.#Pipes & All F Ittings Will Be Arranged By Contractor For Fabrication Work. D.Installation Of Pipe With Threaded Joints As Per Fire Fighting Standard. E. Transportation And Delivery Of The Fabricated Pipe Materials On Site. F. All Consumable, Tools & Tackles, Etc Required For The Work. G. Hand And Powered Tools ,Rigging Tools, Material Handling Facilities, Alignment Jigs And Fixtures, Ins Pection Tools And Accessories. H. Tarpaulins, Hand And Working Lamps, Temporary Supports Etc. I. Personal Safety /Protection Equipm Ent, First Aid Kit, For His Staff At Site. J. In General All Items Of Tools, Accessories, Consumable, Hoses, Cables, Distri Bution Board Etc. Other Than Facilities Provided By Dewa Shall Be Arranged By The Contractor. Inspection Of Site: 1.# The Pros Pective Bidders Shall Visit The Site, Which Shall Be Arranged With Prior Appointment. Dewa Will Not Accept Any Claim For Extras Beyond The Order Rates / Prices During And After The Execution Of Work Ordered. 2.# The Schedule Of Shutdown W Ill Be Intimated In Advance Separately And Work To Be Carried Out During That Period Only. Dewa Wishes To Get The Pipe Work Fabricat Ed And Installation Through Reputed And Well-Experience Piping Contractor. A.#The Arrangement Shown In The Sketches Is Only A Repres Entative Of The Layout. B.#No Fit-Up Shall Be Carried Out Without Approval Of Dewa Engineers. C.#Misalignment Shall Be Checked Prope Rly And Rectified At The Same Time. D.#All Pipe Installation Is On Threaded Joints Shall Be As Per Piping Standard. E.#Prior To Comm Encement Of Fabrication, Two Sets Of Fabrication Drawing And A Method Statement Should Be Prepared And Submitted To Dewa Approval. F.#Previous Experience For The Similar Job, List To Be Provided Along With The Bid. G.#There Shall Be Separate Contractor#S Quality C Ontrol Inspector At Site To Monitor And Ensure The Quality Of Work Carried By The Contractor. H.#During The Execution Of Work Under This Contract, The Contractor Shall Carry Out The Following Quality Control Measures And Tests. I.#These Tests Shall Be Witnessed By The Dewa Supervisors Or Engineers. J.#The Scheduling, Informing And Carrying Out The Tests Including Providing Consumable Material For The Tests Shall Be The Responsibility Of The Contractor. Inspection By Client: 1. The Job Carried Out Under This Contract Shal L Be Inspected By Dewa Engineers At All Stage. They Shall Have Free Access To Contractor Site At All Times. Only After Inspection & Certification By Dewa Engineers, The Job Shall Proceed Further. 2. The Following Activities, In Specific, Shall Be Offered For Ins Pection And Approval By Dewa Engineers. Records: 1. The Contractor Should Submit The Daily Work Progress Report, Tbt, Check Lists, Quality Control Reports, Safety Reports, Housekeeping Reports And Other Documents To The Engineer In Charge Of The Station. 2. The C Ontractor Should Keep Ptw, Risk Assessment, Line Clearances And Tbt Copy At Site For All Works. 3. The Contractor Should Submit The Completion Report With Units Of Measurements For All Jobs. Warranty Period: 1. The Work Carried Out By Contractor Under This Contra Ct Shall Carry A Warranty Of 01Year Against Defective Coating Materials & Painting, And Two Years For Faulty/Poor Fabrication, Erect Ion And Workmanship. 2. In Case Of Any Damage/Deterioration Of The Work Carried Out Under This Contract Within This Warranty Period, The Contractor With All Speed Shall Attend And Carry Out The Necessary Repair Work And Make Good The Defect/Deterioration Without A Ffecting The Production Of Electricity And Water. The Retention Money Will Be Cleared Only After Completion Of The Warranty Period. 3. On Being Given A Notice By Dewa, The Contractor Shall Arrange To Carry Out The Repair Work Within The Prescribed Time Limit Asse T Out By Dewa And All Such Contingencies Shall Be Deemed To Have Been Covered In The Offer.
