Federal Program For Regional Transportation Infrastructure The General Purpose Of The Program Is To Contribute To The Improvement Of The Competitiveness Of The Argentine Provinces. Likewise, Its Specific Objective Is To Improve The Quality Of Service Of The Provincial Road Network (Rvp) And The Municipal Road Network (Rvm). The Program Comprises The Following Components: Component 1. Civil Works. This Component Will Finance Through The Fffir: (I) Improvement And Rehabilitation Works In The Rvp (Pavements, Widening And Duplication Of Carriageway); (Ii) Works In The Rvm (Pavements, Road Duplication, Ring Roads, And Improvements In Urban Accesses, Sidewalks, Bicycle Lanes, Traffic Lights, And Road Safety Works); (Iii) Consultancies For The Technical And Socio-Environmental Inspection Of The Works, To Be Contracted By The Provinces According To Their Needs To Achieve An Adequate Inspection Of The Same; And (Iv) Pre-Investment Studies, To Be Contracted By The Provinces To Develop Or Strengthen Project Designs, Conduct Disaster Risk Assessments, Vulnerability Analysis Or Impact Studies And Socio-Environmental Project Plans, Among Others. Component 2. Institutional Strengthening.This Component Will Finance The Design And Implementation Of Training For Provincial Officials (Provincial Roads Directorates And Other Agencies Linked To The Execution Of Public Works), Both Activities That Will Be Carried Out By The Fffir. The Trainings Will Focus On The Following Topics, Without Limiting The Inclusion Of Others During Execution: (I) Methodologies And Tools For The Design Of Sustainable Road Infrastructure, Including Climate Resilience; (Ii) Management Of Road Maintenance; (Iii) Gender Equity In The Construction Sector; (Iv) Design And Management Of Road Works Contracts (Including A Chapter On The Banks Procurement Policies); (V) Socio-Environmental Management Of Projects (Presenting Bank Policies On The Subject); (Vi) Tools For The Economic Evaluation Of Projects; And (Vii) Incorporation Of Road Safety Criteria In Road Design. In Addition, This Component Will Finance The Improvement Of The Fffir Information Systems To Facilitate Monitoring Of The Works In The Portfolio. Administration And Management Of The Program. In Addition To The Aforementioned Components, Program Resources Will Finance: (I) Fffir Costs Related To Program Administration, Which Include The Hiring Of Professionals Required To Strengthen The Fffir Team In Aspects Of Technical Project Management And Management. Fiduciary; (Ii) Monitoring And Evaluation; And (Iii) External Financial Audit.
