Bids Are Invited For King’S Printer Cheque Manufacturing Service in Canada

The King’S Printer, An Organization Within The Ministry Of Citizens’ Services, Is Seeking A Qualified And Experienced Contractor To Manufacture And Supply A Variety Of Province Of British Columbia Cheques And Transcripts On An As-And-When-Required Basis. The Products Will Be Printed On Specialized Provincial Government Watermarked Security Stock And Delivered To Locations In Victoria And The Lower Mainland.The Contractor Will Support The Ongoing Production Of Several Categories Of Government Cheques, Including General Account Cheques, Bc Employment And Assistance Cheques, Imprest Account Laser Cheques, Public Guardian And Trustee Cheques, Legislative Assembly Cheques, And Ministry Of Education Transcript.In Addition To Manufacturing And Printing Services, The Contractor Will Be Responsible For Obtaining The Required Watermarked Paper Through The Approved Supply Chain, Maintaining Appropriate Inventory Levels, Providing Secure Storage And Handling Of Materials, Implementing Rigorous Waste-Control Measures, And Ensuring Secure And Traceable Delivery Of Finished Products.Because The Products Are Security-Sensitive, The Contractor Must Maintain Security Controls That Meet Or Exceed The Kings Printer Standards, Detailed In Appendix C, Including Requirements Relating To Facility Security, Intrusion Detection, Inventory Control, Handling Of Sensitive Materials, And Secure Destruction Of Waste.The Contract Will Be An As-And-When-Required Arrangement With A Maximum Value Of $1,000,000 Cad. The Province Anticipates That Orders Under The Contract Will Commence In February 2027. The Province Makes No Representation Or Guarantee Regarding The Volume Or Value Of Services That May Be Requested Under The Contract.The Province Anticipates Entering Into A Contract Commencing On Or About January 2027 And Continuing For An Initial Term Of Three Years, With Options For The Province’S Exclusive Use To Extend For Two Years.The Province Intends To Enter Into A Contract With A Contractor That Can Demonstrate The Experience, Manufacturing Capability, Security Controls, And Supply-Chain Capacity Necessary To Reliably Deliver These Services.Further Details As To The Scope Of This Opportunity And The Requirements Can Be Found Within This Rfp.
