batteriøya Connection . Descriptiondrammen Municipality Will Replace The Existing, Dilapidated Bridge To Batteriøya In Svelvik With A New, Safe, Functional And Cost-Effective Wooden Bridge, Adapted To The Areas Maritime Character. The Bridge Will Cross An Approx. 52 Meter Wide Channel And Dimensioned For Pedestrian Traffic As Well As Service Cars, Ambulances And Other Vehicles With An Axle Load Of Up To 5 Tonnes. The Foundation Must Have An Expected Lifespan Of At Least 50 Years, And The Wooden Deck At Least 20 Years. In Order To Meet The Municipalitys Operational And Emergency Needs, The Bridge Will Be Established With A Wider Width Than The Current Construction, So That It Can Be Used By Service And Emergency Vehicles.
