Project: Tender22174 - Procurement Of A Specialized Book Scanner For The Archives And Privacy Division . Rfb For The Provision Of A Purpose-Built V-Cradle Book Scanner To Support Digitization Of Bound Materials For Digitization And Preservation Programs. Scope Of Work The Archives Of Ontario Requires The Supply, Delivery, Installation, Configuration, And Training Associated With A Specialized Book Scanner To Support The Digitization Of Bound Archival Records And Other Library And Archival Materials. The Scanner Will Be Used To Improve Access To Archival Collections While Supporting The Safe Handling And Imaging Of Fragile And Historically Significant Materials. The Scanner Is Required To Support Ongoing Digitization Activities And To Replace Aging Equipment Currently Used For These Purposes. The Successful Bidder Will Be Responsible For Providing The Equipment, Completing Installation And Configuration, And Providing Any Associated Training And Documentation Required For Operational Use. The Deliverables Are Required During The Contract Term And Will Be Supplied And Installed At The Archives Of Ontario, Located At 134 Ian Macdonald Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario.
