Child Daycare Services – Procurement Of Basic Education Afternoon Activities For The City Of Vantaa. The Procurement Unit Of The City Of Vantaa Publishes A Request For Participation To Establish A Dynamic Supplier Register In Accordance With This Procurement Notice. The Goal Is To Obtain The Organization Of School Childrens Afternoon Activities In Accordance With The Basic Education Act For Students Who Are Entitled To Use The Service. In The Basic Education Act (628/1998), Chapter 8 A, Section 48 B, Provisions Are Made On The Organization And Scope Of Morning And Afternoon Activities. According To The First Subsection, The Municipality Can Organize And Procure Morning And Afternoon Activities In Accordance With This Law. If The Municipality Organizes Or Acquires Morning And Afternoon Activities In Accordance With This Law, It Must Be Offered To First And Second Year Students Of Schools Operating In The Municipality, And For Other Year Classes To The Students Referred To In Section 17, Subsection 2, To The Extent Decided By The Municipality. The Organization Of The Morning And Afternoon Activities Defined In Chapter 8 A Of The Basic Education Act (628/1998) Is Voluntary For Municipalities. The Activity Can Be Organized As The Municipalitys Own Activity, As A Purchasing Service Or As An Assisted Activity. The City Of Vantaa Organizes Afternoon Activities As Assisted Activities In Such A Way That The Basic Education Service Area Coordinates, Directs And Supervises Afternoon Activities, But The Actual Operators Are External Service Providers. The Operation Is Covered Annually By The State Contribution From The Board Of Education And The Allocation Allocated By The City, As Well As Customer Fees Collected From Guardians. The City Of Vantaas Funding Only Applies To Afternoon Activities. However, Selected Service Providers Have The Right To Organize Morning Activities On The School Premises If They Wish. A More Detailed Description Of The Service Can Be Found In Appendix 2 Service Description. The Contract Period Is Limited And Valid For Four (4) Years From 1 August 2027 To 31 July 2031. The Terms Of The Contract Are Described In More Detail In Annex 1 Draft Contract To The Request For Tenders. The Contract Is Accompanied By A Customized Dynamic Procedure, Which Is Described In The Procedure Section Of The Request For Tenders.
