The Chantepie Metro Workshop Garage, Located On Route De Vern, Hosts Both Industrial Activities (Operation Of Metro Lines A And B Via The Centralized Control Center And Maintenance Of Line A Trains) And Tertiary Activities (Transversal Services Of Keolis Rennes Métropole). It Was Put Into Service In 2002 During The Launch Of Line A And Was Extended In 2011 During The Project To Increase The Capacity Of This Same Line. No Major Energy Renovation Program Has Been Carried Out Since The Site Was Commissioned In The Early 2000S: It Is Therefore Operated With The Technologies And Performances Of The Time. With A View To Reducing And Controlling Expenses Linked To Energy Consumption, Audits Were Carried Out In 2023-2024 On This Site By The Alterea Company. These Audits Made It Possible To Draw Up A List Of Effective And Profitable Improvement Solutions In The Short, Medium And Long Terms (Investments, Energy Gains, Comfort, Etc.). Each Of These Modifications Was Justified By Quantifying The Necessary Investment And Presenting The Expected Energy Gains.
