Bkp 214-05 Timber Construction Initial Situation The Canton Of Zurich Is Carrying Out The Repair And Expansion Of The Maritime Police And Shipping Control Building At The Oberrieden Location. The Existing Base Will Be Comprehensively Renovated, Structurally Upgraded And Expanded To Include A New Building. Maritime Police Operations Will Be Maintained During The Construction Period Using Separate Temporary Structures. The Goal Is A Modern, Safe And Energetically Renewed Base That Meets Operational Requirements In The Long Term. Project Overview The Project Includes All Timber Construction Work In The Main Project And Is Divided Into The Following Areas: • Prefabricated Wall, Ceiling And Roof Elements In Timber Frame, Rib And Hollow Box Construction • Facing Shells On The Existing Solid Structure As Well As Primary Supporting Structure With Columns And Beams • External And Internal Cladding Including Fire Protection, Soundproofing And Acoustic Cladding The Location Is On Seestrasse In Oberrieden (Zh).
