The Municipality Of Haidmühle, In Collaboration With The Government Of Lower Bavaria, Is Planning To Convert The Former Indoor Swimming Pool Into A Community Center With An Event Hall. In November 2015, The Haidmühle Local Council Decided To Close The Indoor Swimming Pool. The Reason Was The Declining Acceptance, The Dilapidated Building Structure And The Rising Costs. At The October 2026 Meeting, The Local Council Discussed Possible Prospects For The Former Indoor Swimming Pool. The Aim Is To Create A Building With History And A Future. The Focus Of The Considerations Is An Event And Multi-Purpose Hall, Which Could Offer Space For Different Uses In The Future, From Cultural Events And Celebrations To Offers For Guests And Visitors. An Important Question Is Whether The Hall Should Be Used Primarily Seasonally Or All Year Round.
