This Request For Proposals (The “Rfp”) Is An Invitation By The Corporation Of The City Of Nelson (The “City”) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For 2026-P-03 Wildfire Fuel Management Treatment Services As Further Described In Section A Of The Rfp Particulars (Appendix B) (The “Deliverables”). The City Of Nelson Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Forestry Contractors To Complete Grant Funded Wildfire Fuel Management Treatments Across 13 Treatment Units (6.32 Ha.) On City Owned Land. Work May Include Surface Fuel Removal, Manual Thinning, Pruning, Hazard-Tree Removal, Piling, Chipping And Other Debris-Management Activities In Accordance With The Approved Treatment Specifications. The Work Is To Be Completed By February 28, 2027.
