Road Construction Works – Modernization Of Selected Sections Of Class I Roads 2Nd Stage I/66 Valkovňa – Šumiac. The Subject Of The Contract Is The Modernization Of Road I/66 Behind The Village Of Valkovňa At The Road Station Ckm 152.771 – 155.771 In A Length Of 3.00 Km Towards The Village Of Telgárt. On The Subject Section Of The Road, The Reconstruction And Expansion Of The I/66 Roadway, Including Its Accessories And Safety Features, Drainage Of The Roadway, Reconstruction Of Culverts, Modification Or Replacement Of Traffic Signs, Replacement And Addition Of Safety Devices, Reconstruction Of Bridges In Order To Improve Their Current Construction And Technical Condition. The Purpose Of The Modernization Of The Given Section Of The I/66 Road Is To Eliminate The Unsatisfactory Technical Condition Of The Road Body And Communication Equipment Due To Wear And Tear Of The Road Due To The Traffic Load And The Influence Of Climatic Conditions, As Well As To Eliminate Local Defects Threatening Road Users. The Modernization Is Aimed At Improving The Technical And Operational Parameters Of The I/66 Road With The Aim Of Increasing The Traffic Comfort Of Road Users And Ensuring The Smoothness And Safety Of Road Users.
