18-1255 Kjerringstraumen Bridge And 18-1291 Sørstraumen - Reinforcement And Rehabilitation . Description18-1255 Kjerringstraumen Bridge And 18-1291 Sørstraumen Bridge Are Two Bridges That Cross The Efjord On The E6 In Narvik Municipality. The Bridges Were Designed And Built According To Load Class Svv 1/58 And Were Opened To Traffic In 1969. Ådt On The Stretch Of Road Is Today Approx. 600 With A Significant Increase In Traffic Volume In Summer. 18-1255 Kjerringstraumen Bridge Is A Suspension Bridge That Crosses The Kjerringvikstraumen Between Kjerringvik And Storøya In The Efjord. The Bridge Is A Two-Span Suspension Bridge With One Tower And Viaducts On Both Sides. The Southern And Northern Suspension Spans Have A Length Of 200 M And 180 M Respectively. The Viaducts Are Made Of Concrete And Are Both 85 M Long, Distributed Over 6 Spans. The Bracing Carrier In The Suspension Span Consists Of A Steel Truss With A Cooperating Concrete Cover. The Bridge Is Temporarily Classified As Bk10/50 In Two Lanes With A Concrete Wear Layer. The Bridge Must Be Reinforced To Be Able To Be Upgraded To Bk10/60 (Sv 12/65 And Sv 12/100) With New Pavement (See Chapter 10.1). 18-1291 Sørstraumen Bridge Is A Girder Bridge Consisting Of Two Steel Plate Carriers With A Concrete Cover. The Bridge Has Four Spans And A Total Length Of 162.9 M. The Bridge Is Temporarily Classified As Bk10/50 In Two Lanes With An Asphalt Wear Layer. The Bridge Must Be Reinforced To Be Able To Be Upgraded To Bk10/60 (Sv 12/65 And Sv 12/100) With The Existing Coating Thickness. In Connection With The Strengthening Works, The Surface Treatment Of The Steel Structures Must Be Maintained (See Chapter 10.2). It Is Assumed That All The Work Is Carried Out In A Dense And Sheltered Environment On The Bridges, To Ensure Good Climate Control And Proper Handling Of Waste. On The Sørstraumen Bridge, Concrete Repairs Will Also Be Carried Out On Pillars And Land Vessels In And Above Sea.
