Meteorological Instruments – Humidity Sensors. The Aim Of The Measure Is To Replace All Air Humidity Sensors For In-Situ Measurement Of Air Humidity In The Dwds Operational Measuring Network, I.E. At Weather Stations On Land As Well As At Maritime Measuring Stations, With New Sensors. There Is A Total Requirement For At Least 815 Pieces Of Air Humidity Sensors And An Additional 440 Pieces (Total) Of Optional Sensors For The German Weather Service And The Federal Office For Equipment, Information Technology And Use Of The Bundeswehr. If The Sensors Require Special Software To Operate, This Must Be Supplied By The Device Manufacturer As Part Of The Measuring Device. The Software Must Be Remotely Maintainable, I.E. Configurable Remotely And Firmware Updates Must Be Possible. The Entire Measure Lasts At Least Four Years. The Tendering Process Will Begin At The End Of 2026 And Will Be Completed In Mid-2027 After A Test, Evaluation And Award Of The Contract. Series Deliveries Are Scheduled To Take Place Staggered Between 2027 And 2030. Furthermore, Calls For Optional Delivery Quantities Should Be Possible For 10 Years From The Conclusion Of The Contract.
