Tenders are invited for 20262027 School Snack Program Food Procurement (Staple Grains and Vegetable Oil)Phase One The Inter-American Development Bank ( Central American Bank for Economic Integration ) (CABEI), as part of the services it provides to its beneficiary partner countries, is providing financing for this procurement under the Multisectoral Program for Economic Recovery and Social Protection (NIC-Solidaria). 2. Executing Agency and Process Contracting Agency 1. The Executing Agency for this process is: Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (MHCP). 2. The Executing Agency is responsible for this procurement process; to this end, it appoints the Executive Committee for the process and invites proposals for the required contracting. 3. The Contractor will be selected in accordance with the procedures of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration as set forth in the Procurement Policy of the CABEI and its Implementation Guidelines, availableathttps://www.bcie.org 3. Presentation of the Process 1. General objectives of the acquisition: To contribute in a sustained manner to improving education, health, and nutrition indicators for students in schools in 32 selected municipalities within the Mining Sector and 5 departments of the country: Mining Sector (4 municipalities), Estelí (1 municipality), Jinotega (8 municipalities), Madriz (2 municipalities), Matagalpa (9 municipalities), and Nueva Segovia (8 municipalities), through the 20262027 Food Procurement Program for the First Phase of the School Snack Program, which includes the purchase of: 52,621 gallons of soybean oil; 28,441 bags of rice; 20,848 bags of red beans; and 25,362 bags of white corn (all bags weighing 50 lbs / 22.68 kg). 2.
