This Is The New Construction Of A Laboratory And Research Building For The Federal Office For Radiation Protection In Neuherberg. A Central Compressed Air System With A Downstream Technical Gas Network Will Be Built To Supply The Laboratory, Technical And Research Areas. Compressed Air Is Generated Redundantly Via Two Compressors With Cold Drying, Microfiltration, Activated Carbon Adsorption, Compressed Air Tanks And Condensate Treatment. The Supply Takes Place Via Separate Compressed Air Networks With 5 Bar And 8 Bar Operating Pressure For Laboratory Areas, Technical Systems And Building Technology. The Technical Gas System Includes The Central Supply And Distribution Of Nitrogen In Gaseous Form, Nitrogen In Liquid Form, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Dioxide For Analysis Purposes, Oxygen, Argon, Argon-Methane (P10), Helium, Acetylene And Nitrous Oxide. The Media Is Supplied From Central Supply Systems Via Several Vertical Shafts To All Usage Units In The Building. The Measure Includes Gas Warning Systems, Solenoid Valves, Safety Devices, Control Units, Phase Separators, Tapping Points And The Piping.
