Architectural Services For Buildings – Property Planning Building For Renovation Of Washhouse, Conversion And Extension Of Maria Ward Gymnasium Augsburg. The Schulwerk Is Inviting Tenders For The Property Planning Of The Building (Performance Profile § 34 Hoai) For The Renovation Of The Washhouse, Conversion And Extension Of The Maria Ward Gymnasium Augsburg From Lph 2 Onwards. The School Currently Has A Significant Lack Of Space In The Natural Sciences Area. The Existing Specialist Rooms In The Basement Are Significantly Less Than The Target Areas (Including Biology Training Room 39.55 M² Instead Of 60 M², Biology Classroom 62.13 M² Instead Of 75 M², Physics/Chemistry Classroom 68.74 M² Instead Of 75 M²). There Is A Lack Of Modern Teaching, Practice And Preparation Rooms For Physics And Chemistry. There Is A Listed Building (Washhouse) On The School Campus That Is Suitable For Administrative Use, But Not For School Use. The Schulwerk Therefore Intends To Exchange Uses: - Administration In The Washhouse: The School Administration (Directorate, Secretariat, Vice-Principal Offices, Sick Rooms, Copy Room, Tea Kitchens) Is Moving From The Ground Floor Of The Main Building To The Renovated Washhouse (Ground Floor And 1St Floor). The Administrative Use Is Compatible With The Lower Payloads Of The Existing Structure. - Physics In The Main Building: The Vacant Administrative Areas On The Ground Floor Of The Main Building Will Be Converted Into Scientific Rooms For Physics (Two Lecture Halls, Practice Room, Preparation Room). - Chemistry In The Cafeteria: The Existing Cafeteria Will Be Expanded By One Floor. The Specialist Rooms For Chemistry Will Be Built There (Teaching And Practice Room, Preparation Room, Acid Room). The Structure Of The Cafeteria Has Already Been Designed For A Later Addition. - Connecting Corridor On The 1St Floor: A New Connecting Corridor Will Be Created On The 1St Floor Between The Main Building And The Washhouse. The Height Difference Between The Floors (Approx. 1.2 To 1.4 M) Is Overcome Barrier-Free Via A Staircase And An Elevator. In The Future, The Main Access To The Secretariat Will Take Place Via This Corridor. The Feasibility Of The Measure Was Examined In A Feasibility Study By Meier Murr Architects.
