This Request Is For A Proposal To Furnish All Equipment, Materials, And Installation Services To Perform All Services Necessary For Control And Monitoring System Improvements Complete With All Appurtenances And Accessories To Be Installed At The City Of Carrollton Water Treatment Plant. Currently The City¿S Water Plant Operates Ten Conventional Filters. Each Filter Has Six Individual Valves; Left Influent, Right Influent, Effluent, Drain, Wash And Rewash, And A Shared Backwash Valve For A Total Of 61 Valves. These Valves Are Controlled Using A Devicenet Communication Network And Two Allen-Bradley Controllogix Plcs With Panelview Touchscreens. Devicenet Is No Longer A Widely Used Communication Network And Has Proven More And More Difficult For The City To Support And Maintain Throughout The Years. The Purpose Of This Project Is To Abandon The Existing Devicenet Based Valve Control System In Lieu Of Simpler Valve Controls Utilizing Conventional Discrete And Analog Wiring. Furthermore, It Is The Design Intent That Each Filter Will Be Capable Of Standalone Control Without The Need Of The Supervisory Controllogix Plcs. Each Filter Will Have Its Own Dedicated Allen-Bradley Plc And Touchscreen. Additionally, The Integrator Will Replace The Plant¿S Existing Scada System With New Hmi Software And Computer Hardware. Proposals Shall Include All Materials, Labor, Applicable Taxes And Fees Including Freight To Carrollton, Georgia.
