Miscellaneous Business And Business-Related Services – Purchases With Limited Value. The Object Of This Assignment Is To Provide Operational Services For The Vrt With Regard To So-Called Tailspend Purchases With Limited Value. These Non-Strategic Purchases Include, But Are Not Limited To: Small It Equipment, Audiovisual Equipment, Books, Promotional Gifts, Flowers, Organization Of Events, Off-Site Activities For Vrt Staff And Small Marketing Supplies. This Concerns Purchases That Are Not Covered By Existing (Direct) Framework Agreements. Barring Justified Exceptions, The Value Of Individual Purchases Is A Maximum Of -10,000 (Excl. Vat). Under No Circumstances Will The Value Of An Individual Purchase Exceed -30,000 (Excl. Vat). The Financial Thresholds Used In This Assignment Are Flexible And Can Be Adjusted During Implementation If Applicable Public Procurement Legislation Changes. The Contractor Accepts That Vrt Can Unilaterally Adjust These Thresholds To Ensure Compliance With The Regulations. Execution Of The Assignment The Contractor Undertakes To Carry Out The Aforementioned Purchases In His Own Name And For His Own Account, And Is Also Responsible For Delivering, Or Having Delivered, The Goods And Services Concerned To The Vrt. The Contractor Will, Where Possible And Appropriate, Bundle The Purchases Requested By The Vrt And Be Responsible For The Management And Implementation Of All Relevant Purchasing Aspects. The Services Delivered And Goods And Services Purchased By The Contractor Are Invoiced To The Vrt In A Correct And Transparent Manner. The Vrt Does Not Provide Advance Payments In The Context Of The Execution Of This Assignment. Declaration Of Honor The Candidate Encloses A Declaration Of Honor With His Quotation In Which He Expressly Confirms That The Purchases Will Be Carried Out With His Own Financial Resources, Followed By Invoicing To The Vrt. The Absence Of This Declaration Of Honor Results In The Substantial Irregularity Of The Quotation. Local Implementation Given The Nature Of The Purchases And Their Destination For Local Use, They Should Be Realized Through Local Suppliers As Much As Possible. The Contractor Must Have Thorough Knowledge Of Belgian Market Conditions, As Well As Sufficient Command Of Both National Languages. Objectives Of The Assignment With This Assignment, The Vrt Aims In Particular To: Realize Cost Savings By Optimizing The Internal Purchasing Processes For Tailspend Purchases; Introducing A Uniform And Efficient Invoicing Methodology; Ensuring Fast And High-Quality Services; Significantly Simplifying The Supplier Base.
