Waterford City And County Council Intends To Appoint A Contractor To Undertake The Proposed Infrastructure Refurbishment Works At Villierstown Quay Funded Under The Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme 2024/2025. The Proposed Works Will Enhance Access To The River Blackwater For Water Based Activities And Shall Include, But Is Not Limited To: - Devegetation Of A Strip Along The Position Of Proposed Pontoon, Along The Slipway And An Area Between The Pontoons And Slipway. - Regrading The Ground Underneath The Proposed Pontoon. - Installation Of Moorings And Driven Piles For New Pontoons - Supply And Installation Of New Pontoon Segments With Hinge Joints And A Service Pedestal. - Installation Of Service Ducts, Connecting The Pedestal To Electric And Watermains. - Localised Repairs Of Slipway Coursed Random Rubble Masonry - Landscaping And Ancillary Works
