The Object Of This Document Is The Definition Of The Technical Prescriptions That Must Govern The Contracting Of The Manufacture And Supply Of The Contactless Cards That Serve As The Physical Container Of The Atm Transport Tickets In The Scope Of The Integrated Tariff System Of The Lleida Area. In Order To Improve The Quality, Effectiveness And Efficiency Of The Existing Public Transport Network, The Atm Implemented In 2008 In The Territorial Scope Of The Lleida Area, The Tariff Integration Project, Technologically Based On The Use Of Chip Cards And Contactless Communications As Physical Support For The Multi-Trip Transport Tickets Offered By The Atm And Valid For All Public Transport Operators Affiliated To The System. The Operation Of The Equipment And Systems That Make Up The Base Technology Of The Integrated Tariff System Of The Lleida Area Are Based On A Set Of Technical Specifications Which, In The Particular Case Concerned, Specifies The Type Of Cards And The Technical Conditions For Their Issuance. These Cards, Mandatory Use In The Use Of Multi-Trip Transport Tickets Offered By Latm, Must Have Specific Design And Implementation Characteristics That Must Allow And Facilitate The Recording, Reading, Registration And Conservation Of The Data Stored Inside Them And Also Guarantee Confidentiality And Security, All This With The Degree Of Reliability Of The Same. However, As Regards The Cover Of The Card, This Must Facilitate Its Recognition Among The Different Users Of The System As Well As Among The Public Transport Operators Attached So That Its External Appearance Must Comply With The Graphic Design Established By The Atm.
