Tenders are invited for Emergency Response Learning and Capacity Development Consultant The Strengthening Infectious Disease Detection Systems (STRIDES) Activity is a global project led by FHI 360 that supports countries in strengthening disease detection, surveillance, data collection, analysis, and reporting systems to improve global health security outcomes. As part of this work, STRIDES supports country teams in building the operational capacity to prepare for, detect, and respond to public health emergencies, including through AfterAction Reviews (AARs), Early Action Reviews (EARs), Intra-Action Reviews (IARs), and Simulation Exercises (SimExs). Purpose of Consultancy: This consultancy will help organize and capture organizational learning pertaining to emergency responses, by consistently capturing lessons learned from across the STRIDES portfolio of countries. Ultimately, this will allow STRIDES to reduce duplication of efforts, and maintain continuity in response and preparedness activities. This consultancy straddles two teams: STRIDES Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Team and STRIDES Emergency Response Technical Team. This scope of work supports a consultant who can bridge both areas. Specifically, the ideal candidate will have enough technical grounding in emergency preparedness and response to structure and manage reviews and exercises, while also having the organizational learning skills to capture, synthesize, and share lessons across outbreaks and countries, including through regional virtual communities of practice. Depending on need, there may be the possibility to extend this consultancy for three additional months. Tender Link : https://solicitations.fhi360.org/ConsultantSolicitation.aspx
