Structural Steelworks – Hoheward Dump, Horizon Observatory, Herten - Renovation - Steel Construction Work. The Subject Of The Procurement Is The Eu-Wide Award Of The Necessary Steel Construction Work To Rebuild The Arch Structure Of The Horizon Observatory On The Hoheward Dump In Herten. The Horizon Observatory Is Used For Astronomical Observation And Is Intended To Enable Visitors To Orient Themselves Based On The Movements Of The Sky. The Aim Of The Measure Is To Rebuild The Structure In The Same Dimensions As The Previous Structure With The Addition Of Two Additional Supports And To Manufacture The Pipe Bend Construction From Factory-Warm-Formed Pipes, Which Are To Be Assembled Locally Using Pipe Flange Connections. The Existing Foundations Of The Old Construction Will Continue To Be Used For The Two Main Arches, While New Foundations Will Be Created On Site For The Two Additional Supports. In Addition To The Factory Production And Local Assembly Of The New Tubular Steel Structure, Including All Accessories With A Steel Weight Of Approx. 427.1T, The Construction Work Also Includes The Preparation Of The Necessary Workshop And Assembly Planning As Well As The Assembly Statics As Well As The Implementation Of The Necessary Surveying Work And Ancillary Services Accompanying Construction. All Necessary Auxiliary Structures As Well As Cranes, Scaffolding And Work Platforms Must Be Available For Assembly. During Production And Assembly, All Factory Quality Assurance Measures Must Also Be Guaranteed. Finally, The Reassembly Of All Accessories That Were Dismantled During The Dismantling Work And Used, Among Other Things, For Astronomical Observation Is Part Of The Construction Work. Individual Accessories Must Be Revised By The Tradesperson In Advance. The Service Can Be Described In Two Construction Phases, Factory Production And Local Assembly.
