Information on the Project Project Description: The Project is a sovereign solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) in Tunisia by the Société Tunisienne de lÉlectricité et du Gaz (STEG). The project will feature a solar power capacity of 50 MW, complemented by a 10 MW battery storage system (operating for two hours per day) and associated high-voltage grid infrastructure, including a substation and approximately 8 km of 225 kV transmission evacuation lines. The Project is located in the Tataouine Governorate in southern Tunisia. This GPN is linked to Tataouine BESS and Solar AMOA.
