This Is A Health And Safety Risk, Labour Intensive And Subject To Freezing. The Current System Freezes During Cold Weather Operations And Becomes In-Operable.Scope Of Services Or Specifications The Supply And Commissioning Of Septage Receiving Station & Sludge Screening & Controls.Rationale For Contemplating A Direct Awardit Can Be Demonstrated That Only One Supplier Is Able To Provide The Goods, Services, Or Construction Required, And That No Reasonable Alternative Or Substitute Exists.The City Is Contemplating A Direct Award With The Supplier For The Following Reasons:Claro Is The Only Unit That Incorporates Both An Automated Rock Trap And Fine Screening Into One Single Unit.Incorporating All The Equipment Into A Single Unit Avoids Expanding The Building To Accommodate Additional Process Equipment.Contract Value: The Value Of The Purchase Is Expected Not To Exceed $525,000.00 Cad, Exclusive Of Applicable Taxes.Submission Of Objection Noticeany Respondents That Still Wish To Object To This Decision They Should Email Their Objection To The Attention Of Alec Chan, Buyer Iii At Https://Abbotsford.Bidsandtenders.Ca By October 19, 2026, No Later Than 2:00 P.M.
