Management-Related Services – Contract For Operation Of Banedanmarks Sleeper Factory. Banedanmark Wishes To Enter Into A Contract With An Operating Supplier Who Can Manage The Day-To-Day, Ongoing Operation Of Banedanmarks Sleeper Factory Located At Vejlbyvej 1, 7000 Fredericia And Thus, Using The Sleeper Factorys Production Equipment, Produce And Deliver Concrete Sleepers In The Form Of Stretch Sleepers And Track Switch Sleepers, Including Sleeper Types For Special Track Constructions Such As Rail Extensions At Bridges, In Prestressed Concrete For Use By Banedanmark In Carrying Out The Task As Railway Infrastructure Manager. Production Takes Place According To The Long Line Method. In Connection With This, The Operating Supplier Must, Among Other Things: - Ensure A Rational And Economically Sound Production And Delivery Of Concrete Sleepers Of The Types Stretch Sleepers And Track Switch Sleepers In Accordance With The Terms Of The Contract, - As A Minimum, Meet The Requirements Of Ds/En Iso 9001:2015 Or An Equivalent Standard For Quality Management System, Cf. Appendix 5 - Ensure Quality Assurance Of Sleeper Production, - Ongoing Cooperation With Banedanmark On The Organization Of Operations Of Swellefabrikken, Including Participating In Collaboration Meetings, - At Own Expense, Purchase The Necessary Raw Materials And Materials That Are Included In Production, To The Extent That These Are Not, According To The Contract, Builders Supplies That Banedanmark Supplies, - Make The Necessary Technical And Administrative Expertise Available For The Operation Of Swellefabrikken, Including Advising Banedanmark On The Development And Adaptation Of Production, - Assist Banedanmark In Connection With Changes To Swellefabrikken, Including Conversion Of The Production Apparatus With A View To The Production Of Other Types Of Sleepers, - Contribute To The Appropriate Organization And Implementation Of The Pick-Up Of Sleepers From The Factory, Including Overseeing The Loading Of Sleepers In Connection With The Transport Of Finished Sleepers From The Sleeper Factory. For Information On The Historical Production Of Sleepers, Refer To Appendix 17 To The Contract. The Operating Supplier Is Expected To Take Over Responsibility For The Operation Of The Sleeper Factory On 1 January 2028. The Period From 1.9.2027 And Expectedly Up To 31.1.2028 Is Considered An Establishment Period. During This Period, The Parties Cooperate Closely To Establish As Soon As Possible The Basis For A Stable And Efficient Operation Of The Swellefabrikken In Accordance With The Terms Of The Contract. Reference Is Also Made To Appendix 6, Timetable For Establishment. The Day-To-Day Management Of The Swell Factory Must Be Overseen By A Factory Manager. The Factory Manager Must Be Employed By The Operations Supplier (Banedanmarks Contract Party). Communication Between The Factory Manager Assumed By The Operating Supplier And Banedanmark Must Take Place In Danish. The Contract Does Not Prevent Banedanmark From Purchasing Sleepers From Third Parties. Banedanmark Is Entitled To Resell Sleepers To Third Parties.
