Health Services – Management Of Instruments. The Subject Of The Contract Is The Management Of Reprocessable Surgical Instruments, Including The Organization, Control, Implementation, Documentation, Quality Assurance And Tracking Of Maintenance And Repair Measures With The Aim Of Restoring And Ensuring The Functionality, Safety, Availability And Proper Readiness For Use Of The Instruments In Compliance With The Applicable Legal, Normative And Manufacturer Requirements. The Service Includes In Particular The Identification And Processing Of Repair Needs, The Technical Assessment Of Damage Patterns, The Implementation Or Initiation Of Suitable Repair Measures Taking Into Account The Manufacturers Information, The Examination Of The Safety And Function-Relevant Features That May Be Influenced By The Measure, The Implementation And Documentation Of Quality Assurance Measures, The Documented Release, The Return To The Supply And Processing Cycle As Well As The Provision Of Evaluations, Reports And Evidence To Ensure Traceability. In Addition, The Client Can Order Optional Services. This Includes The Provision Of Repair Replacements If Repairs Are Not Technically Possible Or Economically Justifiable, As Well As Services For The Maintenance And Repair Of Motor Systems, Drive Units, Handpieces, Contra-Angle Handpieces And Associated Accessories. The Details Regarding The Scope Of Services, The Commissioning, Remuneration And Documentation Of The Optional Services Are Regulated Contractually. The Order Does Not Cover Flexible And Semi-Flexible Endoscopes As Well As Medical Devices And Instruments For Which, Due To Existing Manufacturer Relationships, Maintenance Or Repair Services May Only Be Provided By The Respective Manufacturer Or By Companies Authorized By The Manufacturer. The Term Of The Contract Is Four (4) Years. The Client Has The Unilateral Option To Initially Extend The Contract For One (1) Additional Year. The Extension Option Is Exercised By Written Notification From The Client To The Contractor Before The End Of The Respective Contract Or Extension Term.
