Floodgates – Tender For The Procurement Of Mobile Damming Equipment. Tender For The Acquisition Of Mobile Damming Equipment Description (Danish): The National Emergency Management Agency (Brs) Wishes To Enter Into A Framework Agreement With The Countrys 30 Municipal Rescue Services (The Kommunale Beredskaber) On The Acquisition Of Mobile Damming Equipment In The Form Of Free-Standing Flood Barriers. The Purpose Of The Acquisition Is Primarily To Support Brs And The Municipal Emergency Services Emergency Handling Of Climate Events, Including When Warning Of Increased Water Levels From The Hinterland As Well As Seawater, As Well As When Responding To Major Fires. The Mobile Dam Equipment Must Be Used Both Independently In Connection With The Handling Of E.G. Climate Events, Just As It Must Be Included As A Supplement To Brs And The Municipal Emergency Services Existing Damming Equipment. The Equipment Must Be Able To Be Used In Several Different Action Scenarios. Firstly, It Must Be Able To Be Established Quickly And Flexibly Over Varying Stretches In The Event Of Extraordinary Water Level Rises, Including In Case Of Emergency Action In The Hinterland, E.G. By Lakes And Streams, As Well As By Coasts And Harbours. Secondly, It Must Be Able To Be Used For The Protection Of Individual Objects, E.G. Critical Infrastructure. Thirdly, It Must Be Able To Be Used As A Water Reservoir In Connection With Larger Fire Operations, Where Water Is Placed In The Reservoir, From Which One Or More Pumps Distribute The Water To The Operation Area. The Mobile Dam Material Must Have A Primary Height Corresponding To The Height Of Brss Existing And Most Used Dam Material. As The Risk Assessments And Needs Of The Local Emergency Services Vary, It Is Also Desired To Offer Damming Equipment At Other Heights, Which Enables Adaptation To Areas With A Need For Lower Or Higher Damming. It Is Essential That The Equipment Allows Fast, Easy And Efficient Transport, Set-Up And Dismantling, Including That The Handling Can Be Done With A Minimum Of Resources And In A Way That Is Sound In Terms Of The Working Environment. It Is Assumed That The Material Can Be Used Several Times. The Material Will Be Stored In Stock And Transported To The Intervention Areas Via Truck. During Deployment, The Equipment Must Be Able To Be Handled By Hand, Including Unloading, Setting Up, Taking Down And Loading, By A Minimal Number Of Personnel. The Framework Agreement Has A Duration Of 4 Years From Signature.
