Storage Media – Replacement Of Data Server Systems. The Subject Of The Order Includes Several Data Server Systems That Meet Different Requirements And Must Be Designed To Be Highly Available In Time-Critical 24/7 Operation. The Hardware Of The Entire System Consisting Of Database Servers, Data Access Servers, Storage Systems And Network Is To Be Modernized And Expanded As Part Of This Process. Each Data Server System Is Expected To Have 99% Availability. An Availability Of 99.8% Is Required For The Entire System. The Values ​​Are Measured Over 30 Days. The Systems To Be Procured Must Be Installed Redundantly At Two (Optionally Three) Different Locations: A Data Server System For Routine Use In The Data Center Of The German Weather Service In Offenbach Am Main (Dmrz-Of) An Independent Data Server System For Backup, Integration And Testing At A Second Location (Dmrz-Ex). The Dmrz-Ex Site Will Be Located On German Territory At Least Fifty Kilometers From The Dmrz-Of Site. The Exact Location Has Not Yet Been Determined. The Location Will Be Communicated As Early As Possible, But No Later Than March 2027. Once Determined, The Contractor Will Be Informed Immediately About The Dmrz-Ex Location. An Independent, Smaller Data Server System Also At The Dmrz-Ex Location. The Option Available Is To Install This System At The Bundeswehr Location In Euskirchen Dmrz-Eu Instead. The Decision As To Whether The Dmrz-Euskirchen Option Will Be Chosen By The German Weather Service Will Be Made No Later Than The Award Of The Contract. The Creation Of The Overall System Is Divided Into The Following Phases: Phase 1: Delivery, Installation, Operation And Maintenance Phase 2 (Optional): Continued Operation Of The System Service, If Necessary Increasing Performance Through An Additional Data Server System After The End Of The Contract (Optional): Dismantling, Disposal And Dismantling Of The Systems The Detailed Description And All Requirements Can Be Found In The Appendices “Service Description” And “Service Matrix” And Will Be Made Available To The Interested Party After Submitting The Confidentiality Agreement.
