Ballina Stephenites Gaa Invites Tenders From Suitably Qualified Engineering Consultants / Construction Professionals For The Supervision, Inspection And Certification Of Works Associated With The Completion Of The Club’S Synthetic Astro Pitch Development At James Stephens Park, Ballina, County Mayo. The Construction Works To Be Supervised Will Include Perimeter Fencing And Ball-Retention Netting, Access Gates, Kerbing, Perimeter Footpaths And Associated Hard Surfacing, Civil Works Associated With Floodlighting Including Foundations, Ducting And Cable Routes, Installation Of Floodlight Columns, Construction Of A Hurling / Skills / Ball Wall, And Associated Groundworks, Drainage, Finishing And Reinstatement Works. The Appointed Consultant Will Be Required To Review The Construction Documentation, Attend Pre-Start And Progress Meetings, Undertake Inspections At Appropriate And Critical Stages Of Construction, Monitor Workmanship And Compliance With The Specification, Identify Defects Or Non-Compliant Works, Review Relevant Test And Completion Documentation, Undertake Snagging Inspections, And Provide Final Inspection And Professional Certification Of The Completed Works. The Service Will Require Appropriate Site Attendance Throughout The Construction Period, Including The Ability To Attend The Site Promptly Where Inspection Is Required Before Works Are Covered Or Subsequent Construction Proceeds.
