Tenders are invited for Implement Training of Trainers (Tot) in the Field of Social Emotional Learning (Sel) Service Location: Ramallah Re-publication of a tender for the implementation of training of trainers (ToT) in the field of social emotional learning (SEL) tender No. (69/2026) The Teacher Creativity Center Association is a Palestinian non-governmental and non-profit organization, registered and dedicated primarily to promoting the social outcomes of quality education in Palestine, the Middle East and North Africa, thus transforming the goals, objectives and strategies of education - in these countries - to become more responsive to the needs of their developmental societies, including the social outcomes of quality education in line with the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals SDG4 and Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the outcomes of the 1993 Vienna Conference Programs for Action can be understood as those outcomes that education plays the main role in promoting in society according to the aforementioned international conventions, including: citizenship and social responsibility, inclusivity, equality, universal citizenship, respect for human rights and international law, psychosocial well-being, culture of dialogue and non-violence, respect for cultural diversity, mutual understanding, tolerance and friendship with all nations and ethnic and religious groups and reducing unemployment. The association works locally, regionally and internationally with all parties concerned with education in Palestine and the Middle East and North Africa to influence education planning processes, so that education planning in these countries becomes participatory, rights-based and results-oriented, and oriented towards achieving quality education outcomes by empowering society across its spectrums and sectors to be able to participate in policy planning and monitoring processes to ensure its implementation.In this context, the association works to build the capacities of teachers, principals and students in several related fields, and to improve the school environment to become a safe and contributing environment to achieve the social outcomes of quality education, as well as to improve and develop educational infrastructures in order to achieve these outcomes. Project Overview Since the first of June 2026, the Teacher Creativity Center Association has been working in partnership with the World Vision Foundation WVI, funded by the European Commission for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO),implemented a 24-month project entitled "Ensuring access to inclusive, safe and dignified education, and protection for the most vulnerable children affected by conflict in the West Bank", which aims to address the education gap, improve childrens access to educational opportunities, psychosocial support services, protection services, and improve the learning environment in facilities. The project targets 50 public schools in Hebron, Bethlehem, Tubas, Salfit, Tulkarem, Qalqilya, Jericho, and Jenin. and Nablus, with a focus on schools located in Areas Band C. Target groups include students, teachers, school principals as well as parents/caregivers, promoting an integrated and sustainable approach to supporting the educational environment. About the training: The training, which consists of 4 training groups, with 24 training hours for each group, distributed over 3 training days, aims to empower 100 teachers from the target schools in addition to holding a 4-hour meeting for 50 principals on the theory of social emotional learning and related skills, to be able to transfer knowledge and concepts as well as skills to facilitate training for other groups of teachers TOT skills in later stages, and in response to these goals, the training will focus on basic axes, including what are known as social and emotional learning challenges that affect the social and academic performance of learners, and social and emotional indicators in learners that help teachers to identify, monitor and respond to these challenges. Understanding the theory of social-emotional learning and its related skills (intrapersonal, interpersonal and cognitive)), use social emotional learning skills to overcome the social and emotional effects of social emotional learning challenges on learners, use sport and the arts to provide learners with social emotional learning skills, in addition to the training of trainers needed to enable these teachers to organize training sessions for other groups of teachers in the above mentioned areas. Scope of Work Within the framework of achieving the objectives of the project, the center wishes to contract a trainer specialized in the field of social emotional learning (SEL), to facilitate 4 ToT training courses in the field of social emotional learning for 100 teachers in addition to 50 principals from the target schools to become able to transfer the knowledge and skills acquired in the field of social emotional learning to prepare and transfer knowledge to other groups of educational staff in the same schools. Main Training Objectives: Empower 100 teachers with basic concepts and theories of social-emotional learning. Empower 50 managers with the basic concepts and theories of social emotional learning. Building and developing teachers self-esteem, relational, and cognitive skills (Intrapersonal, Interpersonal, and Cognitive skills). Providing teachers with the skills to identify, monitor, and respond to social and emotional challenges and indicators affecting students academic and social performance. Incorporating innovative methods to equip learners withSEL skills. Providing teachers with training skills to (ToT) enable them to transfer knowledge and organize training courses for other groups of teaching staff in their schools. Tasks & Responsibilities Description Developing a framework and training material: Preparing a comprehensive training material based on creative and non-traditional facilitation methods, and modifying it based on the observations of the Societys specialists. Preparation of the training plan: Preparing a detailed and time plan that includes the main and sub-headings, and distributing the content over 3 training days with 8 hours per day (24 hours per group) for teacher training and 4 hours of training for managers. Implementation of trainings: Implementation of 4 training groups for teachers (24 training hours for each group) in the city of Ramallah. Conducting meetings: Conducting a training group for managers (4 hours) in Ramallah. Development of measurement and evaluation tools: Developing a pre/post test to measure the extent of change in the knowledge and skills of trainees. Develop a tool to measure the acquired skills for use in field visits and present it to the project staff for approval. Supervision and field visits: Conducting supervisory field visits to the targeted schools during the knowledge transfer phase and implementing school initiatives to follow up on performance and provide feedback and recommendations. Reporting: Providing a detailed training report that includes the analysis of pre- and post-tests, and another comprehensive report for field visits and analysis of the skills measurement tool. To be determined later as per the proposal Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications: Priority is given to applicants (individuals or institutions) who combine academic qualification with work experience according to the following requirements: Education: An advanced undergraduate degree (masters or doctorate preferred) in education, psychology, social sciences, or related fields. Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years of proven experience in the field of Social Emotional Learning (SEL), capacity building of educational staff, and training of (ToT) trainers. Training Skills: Mastering the use of interactive activities in education and developingsocial emotional learning skills. Analytical Ability: Experience in designing skills measurement tools and tests, conducting statistical analyses, and developing field follow-up tools. Report Writing: Excellent technical report writing skills in both Arabic and English.
