Tenders are invited for Investment Advisory Consultancy - Scalesmart Program. Closing Date: Friday, 09. Oct 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Trade & Finance, Training & Capacity Building Remuneration range: 4000 to 5000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 5 Months Context & Background Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon. The ScaleSmart program aims to support pre-seed or seed startups working in different sectors to scale up by equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to plan a solid fundraising path, matching them with investors and investment opportunities, and improving their chances of successfully raising funds. Scope of work The ScaleSmart program seeks an Investment Advisor to provide ongoing advisory support to participating startups throughout the implementation phase of its batch. The engagement includes approximately 2 one-on-one clinics per month with each startup, providing tailored guidance based on the startups progress, development stage, investment strategy, and fundraising needs. The expert will remain informed of the topics and activities covered throughout the acceleration phase to ensure that investment-readiness support is aligned with the startups overall development. The support will focus on: Advise and support startups in developing and refining their investment strategy, including funding goals, funding sources, fundraising timelines, investor targeting, data room and valuation considerations. Prepare startups for investor engagement and provide guidance on investor conversations, meetings, pitching, and follow-up. Provide guidance on the fundraising process, including investor outreach, due diligence, term sheets, negotiations, and the structure of investment agreements, as relevant. Support startups in progressively preparing and organizing their data room and due diligence documentation. Identify gaps in the startups investment readiness and provide practical recommendations to address them. Continuously adapt the investment-readiness support based on the startups progress, changes in strategy, financial performance, and the topics covered through other acceleration modules. Identify potential investors or fundraising mechanisms for each startup and aid them in securing the investments. Support startups in networking and match making, by connecting them with potential investors, financial institutions, fundraising bodies, potential clients and partners. Support the Berytech team in identifying potential experts, jury members, and key figures to participate in program related activities (including but not limited to, Board Meetings, investment simulation, face to face with investors, webinars ...) Expected Deliverables Consultants Deliverables Deliver approximately 2 one-on-one clinics per month (minimum 8 clinics) with each startup throughout the acceleration phase. Support startups in progressively preparing and updating their investment materials, data room, and due diligence documentation throughout the acceleration phase. Provide tailored guidance and recommendations based on each startups development and potential investor requirements. Provide comprehensive content and materials that can be used by the entrepreneurs during and after the clinics. These materials may include templates, checklists, sample investor materials, relevant readings, suggested links and resources, and other tools related to fundraising and investment readiness. All materials should be shared and uploaded in coordination with the Berytech team to make them accessible to the startups. Support and facilitate relevant introductions between participating startups and potential investors, where appropriate, and provide guidance to startups before and after investor meetings to help maximize the value of these engagements. Conduct preparatory meetings with the Berytech Team to align on the startups profiles, the content and approach of the clinics, and the responsibilities under this agreement. Conduct monthly coordination meetings with the ScaleSmart team and relevant experts involved in the acceleration program to discuss the startups progress, identify investment-readiness gaps, and ensure that the advisory support is aligned with the other modules and activities. Submit a brief written update on each startups progress following the clinics and conduct meetings with the Berytech team for verbal feedback and follow-up. Startups Deliverables After the module, the startups should be able to: Develop and refine an investment strategy aligned with their business objectives and growth plans. Prepare and maintain a structured data room and relevant due diligence documentation. Navigate investor conversations with confidence Meet with several potential investors or funding bodies Identify tangible leads for the financial needs Qualifications A bachelors or masters degree in business, finance, or related field. A minimum of 15 years of experience in investment advisory, fundraising, venture capital, corporate finance, investment banking, or related fields, preferably with startups and growth-stage companies. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the startup ecosystem, including funding sources, investor expectations, and fundraising best practices.
