Tenders are invited for Financial Modelling, Planning & Valuation Consultancy - Scalesmart Program. Closing Date: Friday, 09. Oct 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Training & Capacity Building Remuneration range: 4000 to 5000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 5 Months Context & Background Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon. The ScaleSmart program aims to support pre-seed or seed startups working in different sectors to scale up by equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to plan a solid fundraising path, matching them with investors and investment opportunities, and improving their chances of successfully raising funds. Scope of work The ScaleSmart program seeks a Financial Modelling & Valuation Expert to support startups in developing and continuously refining financial models that reflect their business model, growth strategy, financial performance, and funding needs. The engagement includes one workshop followed by monthly follow-up clinics with the startups (the total number of clinics will be agreed upon with the program team) for tailored guidance on the below: Develop and refine financial models based on the startups business model, growth strategy, and financial performance. Develop and update short-, medium-, and long-term financial projections, including revenue, costs, cash flow, and other relevant financial indicators. Review and refine key financial assumptions and unit economics to ensure that projections are realistic and aligned with the startups current and expected performance. Support startups in integrating learnings and changes from the different acceleration modules into their financial models, including changes related to pricing, sales, market expansion, operations, and growth strategy. Advise startups on their funding requirements and financial scenarios based on their projected growth and financing needs. Provide guidance on startup valuation, including the development of a clear valuation rationale aligned with the startups stage, growth expectations, and relevant market benchmarks. Review the overall financial model to identify gaps, inconsistencies, unrealistic assumptions, and potential financial risks, and provide recommendations for improvement. Support startups in their financial literacy particularly in areas related to the requirements of their startups. Expected Deliverables Consultants Deliverables Deliver a workshop and tailored one-on-one sessions with each startup (total number of sessions to be agreed upon with the program team) Conduct preparatory meetings with the ScaleSmart Team to align the content of the sessions as well as the approaches and responsibilities under this agreement. Submit a detailed written report on every startups progress throughout the mentoring and conduct meetings with the Berytech team for verbal feedback. Provide comprehensive content and materials that can be used by the entrepreneurs during the clinics. These materials will include detailed templates, readings for the startup to research and understand the topic more, suggested links and sources on the topic...etc. All these materials should be uploaded in coordination with the Berytech team to make them accessible for the startups. Conduct monthly coordination meetings with the ScaleSmart team and relevant experts involved in the acceleration program to discuss the startups progress, align on key developments, and ensure that the financial modelling work is integrated with the other modules and areas of support. Develop and simulate several iteration of the financial models of the startups based on key decisions taken during the program. Startups Deliverables After the module, the startups should be able to: Build and continuously refine an investor-ready financial model based on realistic and clearly defined assumptions. Have a better understanding of financial terms and concepts. Develop and update short-, medium-, and long-term financial projections. Understand and monitor their key financial drivers and unit economics. Integrate changes in their business strategy and performance into their financial model. Clearly identify and articulate their funding requirements. Develop a clear and well-supported valuation rationale. Use their financial model as a tool for both strategic decision-making and discussions with potential investors. Qualifications A bachelors or masters degree in business, finance, or related field. A minimum of 15 years of experience in financial modelling, financial planning, valuation, investment advisory, or related fields, preferably with startups and growth-stage companies. Strong knowledge and practical experience in startup financial modelling, financial projections, unit economics, funding requirements, and valuation.
