Tenders are invited for Review and Update of PICTI/PITA Gender and Inclusion Policy. Service Location: Ramallah Background The Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies (PITA) is the leading representative body of the ICT sector in Palestine, working to promote innovation, digital transformation, private-sector growth, and the development of an inclusive digital economy. Within this context, PITA is implementing the project Inclusive Digital Transformation, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The project aims to strengthen womens participation, leadership, and meaningful engagement in Palestines ICT sector, while promoting inclusive digital transformation across companies and institutions. As part of previous efforts to promote gender equality within the ICT sector, the Palestine Information and Communications Technology Incubator (PICTI), PITAs sister organization, developed an organizational Gender Policy addressing key principles related to gender equality, non-discrimination, safety, and dignity in the workplace. Building on this existing policy, PITA seeks to contract a qualified consultant or consulting company to review, update, and expand the existing PICTI/PITA Gender Policy to reflect broader and current inclusion priorities. In particular, the updated policy should strengthen its existing gender-responsive provisions while incorporating disability inclusion, accessibility and barrier-free workplace practices, and intersectional equity. Following its finalization, PITA intends to disseminate the updated policy among its member companies and relevant ICT-sector stakeholders as a reference document that can support and encourage organizations to strengthen their own gender-responsive, inclusive, and accessible workplace practices. Objectives of the Assignment The overall objective of this assignment is to review the existing PICTI/PITA Gender Policy and identify key gaps and areas for improvement, assess relevant practices and needs among PITA member ICT companies based on the identified gaps, and use the findings to develop a practical and updated Gender and Inclusion Policy responsive to the realities of the Palestinian ICT sector.
