Request for proposals for Purchase of Electrical Energy from a 15-20 MW Renewable Energy Hybrid Facility in Mauritius (Wind and Battery Energy Storage System). Bids will be opened on Wednesday 09 December 2026 as from 13.45 hours (Mauritian Time) in the Conference Room of the Central Electricity Board Office, 3rd Floor, New Building, Royal Road, Curepipe, Republic of Mauritius in the presence of bidder or bidders representatives who choose to attend. The bidder shall furnish an original Bid Security along with their bids in the amount of MUR 1 million per Contracted Capacity in MW. The Bid Security shall be issued by a Commercial Bank operating in Mauritius and shall remain valid up to 30 days after the bid validity date, i.e. up to 07 July 2027. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled on Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 10:30 hrs (Mauritian Time) at the Centre de Formation et de Perfectionnement Professionel (CFPP), Bois Marchand Road, Terre Rouge. A site visit has also been arranged at Plaine Des Roches site at 13.30 hrs (Mauritian Time) on the same day. Bidders have to make their own transport arrangement to attend the site visit.
