Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) for Consultancy for Employers Representative MCA-Belize intends to develop, procure, install, test, commission, and place into commercial operation a submarine transmission cable system with integrated fiber optic under an Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) Contract (FIDIC Silver Book). The Project is a strategic infrastructure investment designed to increase transmission capacity between the Belize mainland and Ambergris Caye to reliably and economically meet demand growth on Ambergris Caye and bring down the overall cost of electricity. The MCA-Belize seeks to appoint an experienced Employers Representative to act on its behalf to provide independent technical, commercial, contractual, environmental, and project management services throughout design, manufacturing, installation, testing, commissioning, and warranty phases of the EPCI Contract. Bidding will be conducted through the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) procedures as specified in the Accountable Entity MCC Procurement and Policy Guidelines (PPG) and is open to all eligible offerors as defined in the PPG.
