David Thompson Corridor - Sign Parts Replacement Program . Project Background: Alberta Parks Has 9 Established Campgrounds And Day Use Areas In The West Central Region Of Alberta Parks. Signage Within The Pra’S Has Reached It Life Expectancy Or Is Outdated, And Replacement Is Required To Comply With Current Standards. Project Objective: Install And/Or Replacement Of Sign Parts For Compliance With Current Parks Standards. Scope Of Work: • Receive Sign Parts (Metal Signs, Hpl Signs, Backer Boards And Mounting Hardware For Multipanel Hpl Signs Only Supplied By Alberta Parks) From Crimson Lake Provincial Park Maintenance Area And Haul Onto Designated Sites. • Supply Materials, Haul Onto Site, Signposts And All Associated Hardware For Sign Part Replacement, According To Parks Directions And Specifications. • Erect Signage For Public Acknowledgement Of Construction In Progress. • Install New Signposts And Tamp Into Place With Excavated Soil Where Directed And Install 250 New Parks Sign Supplied By Alberta Parks Ten Different Pra’S. Details On Placement Of Posts And Signs Will Take Place During Site Visitation And Pre-Bid Meeting. • Signs Range In Size From; 150Mmx300mm To 1200Mmx2400mm. • Clean Up Of The Site And Remove All Debris Created During Sign Part Replacement. Clean Up Of Work Site Is Required And Debris To Be Disposed Of Offsite, And Not In Parks Refuse Containers. Information/Pre-Bid Meeting Sep 29, 2026 • 10:00 Am (Mt) Meeting Details The Pre-Bid Meeting Will Take Place At Two Locations Beginning At Goldeye Lake Pra At 10:00 Am On September 29, 2026, And Then Travel To Shunda Viewpoint Gu. Google Maps Locations Are Provided In The Rfq Document. The Pre-Bid Meeting Is Not Mandatory To Bid On This Opportunity But Due To Site Conditions It Is Strongly Recommended. Arrangements Can Be Made To View All The Other Locations Or If You Do Not Wish To Attend The Pre Bid Meeting. The Pre-Bid Meeting Will Only Take Place If There Is Interest Expressed By Potential Bidders. Please Rsvp By Email To Kevin Wenzel If You Will Be Attending.
