Weed-Clearance Services – Kemiönsaari Reed Projects. Background And Target Of The Procurement The Target Of This Dynamic Procurement System (Hereinafter Also Dps) Is The Mowing, Harvesting, Collection, Transport, Intermediate Storage And Processing Services Of Lake Reed Needed By The Municipality Of Kemiönsaari (Hereinafter Also Procurement Unit) In The Years 2026–2029. The Procurement Unit Establishes Dps So That It Can Flexibly Tender Services Related To The Mowing, Harvesting And Utilization Of Reeds In Different Locations, At Different Times And To The Extent Necessary At Any Given Time. The Services Procured Through Dps Can Include Both Summer Mowing And Winter Mowing, As Well As Collection, Transportation, Intermediate Storage And Further Processing Of Mowed Reed Material. More Specific Work Areas, Time Of Work, Scope Of Mowing, Implementation Method, Handling Of Harvested Material, Transport Destinations And Other Site-Specific Requirements Are Defined In Dpss Internal Tenders, I.E. Mini-Tenders. By Mowing And Harvesting Lake Reeds, Environmental Benefits Are Sought, Especially The Removal Of Nutrients From The Water System And The Reduction Of Eutrophication In The Archipelago Sea. At The Same Time, The Aim Is To Promote The Sustainable Management Of Reeds, Improvement Of Water Quality, Biological Diversity And The Utilization Of Lake Reeds As A Local Biomass And Raw Material Resource. The Acquisitions Are Carried Out As Part Of The Ruokoresurssi – Vassresursen Project Managed By Kemiönsaari Municipality (2026–2028) And The Recreatebiobased Project (2026–2029) Funded By The Interreg Central Baltic Program. Task Content Through Dps, Services Related To The Mowing, Harvesting, Collection, Transport, Intermediate Storage, Processing And Utilization Of Lake Reed Can Be Obtained. An Individual Mini-Competition Can Concern One Or More Of The Aforementioned Services, Service Packages Or Work Phases. Järviruoo Is Harvested In The Kemiönsaari Area Or In The Immediate Vicinity. In The Mowing Plan And In The Request For Tenders For The Individual Mini-Competition, The Areas Included In The Procurement In Question, The Scope Of Work, Mowing Time, Mowing Method, Order Of Execution Of The Work, Material Handling, Transport Destination And Other Requirements Regarding The Implementation Of The Work Can Be Defined In More Detail. The Task May Include, For Example: - Järviruoos Summer And/Or Winter Mowing Individual Mini-Competition In More Precisely Defined Areas. - Collecting And Assembling Mown Reed Material Into Piles. - Loading And First-Stage Transportation Of The Reed Material To The Storage And/Or Further Processing Location Indicated By The Procurement Unit. - Interim Storage Of Reed Material. - Processing Of Reed Material, Such As Drying, Crushing, Pelletizing Or Other Processing Specified In More Detail In The Request For Tender. - Transportation Of Reed Material For Further Processing, Further Processing Or Other Destination Indicated By The Procurement Unit. - Possible Preparation And Infrastructure Work Related To Mowing, Harvesting, Transport Or Material Handling Required For The Accessibility Of The Area, If They Are Stipulated In The Request For Tenders For The Individual Mini-Competition.
