In Order To Operate These Devices, Software Is Used That Is Constantly Being Further Developed With The Aim Of Improving And Correcting Existing Functions And Expanding Them With New Functions That Are Derived From Suggestions And Wishes From Practice, From Changing System Environments (Updated System Software, Etc.) Or From Legal Framework Conditions. Therefore, The Software Must Be Updated Regularly. Iwb Uses The Software From The Supplier Nes. However, The Software Updates (See Appendix C1 “Sip Datasheet”) Are Not Delivered By Nes Directly To The Suppliers, But Only Via Resellers, So-Called Development Partners. The Nes Company Offers Extensive Support For The Nes System Software, Nes Software Tools And The Associated Nes Components (Data Concentrators, Meters, Load Switching Devices, Osgp Terminal Devices). The Software Investment Protection (Sip) Platinum Service Covers All Further Developments And System Improvements. Nes Maintenance (Sip Service Platinum) Includes Software And Firmware Updates Within The Same Releases As Well As Upgrades To Additional Releases For Counters, Dc/Dcn And Nes System Software (Head End System), Nes Provisioning Tool And Nes Diagnostics Tool, As Well As Telephone And Web-Based Technical Support. Due To The Software Used At Iwb, “Sip Platinum” Or Equivalent Is Required. Iwb Needs A Reseller Who Will Provide Us With The System Adjustments According To Sip Platinum At A Data Transfer Point Defined By Iwb For The Next Four Years (2027-2030).
