Project Management Services Other Than For Construction Work – Project Sponsor For The Investment Program For The Renovation Of Womens Shelters. With The Resolution Of The 2026 Federal Budget, The German Bundestag Has Made Program Funds Amounting To 150 Million Euros Available For The Renovation Of Womens Shelters. The Funds Are Budgeted For In The Economic Plan Of The Special Fund For Infrastructure And Climate Neutrality And Are Available To Support Long-Term Investment Projects. Approval Periods (Project Durations) Of Up To Three And A Half Years Are Planned. Many Aid And Protection Facilities For Women Affected By Violence And Their Children Are In Need Of Significant Renovation Due To Their Structural Condition, Increased Requirements For Security And Accessibility, And Increasing Needs For Child-Friendly Accommodation. Sustainable Structural Renovation Of These Facilities Is Of Central Social Importance In Order To Guarantee Women Affected By Violence And Their Children A Safe, Dignified And Reliable Shelter. Reducing The Existing Renovation Backlog Also Serves To Further Implement The Istanbul Convention And Contributes To Making The Facilities Sustainable And Sustainable In The Long Term. The Federal Government Therefore Supports The Sustainable Modernization And Renovation Of Womens Shelters. The Responsible Federal Ministry Of Housing, Urban Development And Construction (Bmwsb) Has Commissioned The Federal Institute For Building, Urban And Spatial Research (Bbsr) To Implement The Federal Program. In View Of The Fact That The Bbsr Does Not Have The Necessary Human Resources Of Its Own For Implementation, Support From A Contractor (“Contractor”) Is Required Who Works In Close Coordination With The Bbsr (Client, “Client”). A Loan (Authority To Carry Out Sovereign Tasks In The Forms Of Action Under Public Law) Is Sought. The Call For Funding Is Expected To Be Published By The Bbsr In Mid-November 2026. The Contractors Services Should Generally Extend Over The Entire Duration Of The Project, Including Project Completion After Proof Of Use And Any Earmarks (Approx. December 31, 2030). The Contractors Services Should Therefore Initially Be Agreed Until December 31, 2030 With The Option Of Three Extensions Of One Year Each (Up To A Maximum Of December 31, 2033).
