Artistic Services – Competition For Art In Construction At The Electrical Engineering Vocational School Center In Dresden. The Subject Is An Art-In-Architecture Competition For The New Building Of The Vocational School Center For Electrical Engineering At Boxberger Straße 1-3 In Dresden. Proposals Must Be Developed For The Location For Artistic Work On Or In The School Building, Which Creates A Distinctive Connection To The Location And Should Contribute To The Users Identification With The Vocational School Center Through The Artistic Quality And Significance. The Topic Should, If Possible, Relate To The Subject-Specific Orientation Of School Teaching “Electrical Engineering”. The Implementation Can Be Sculptural, Plastic, Using Painting Techniques That Are Firmly Linked To The Building, Installation-Based, Kinetic, Interactive, Through Light Installation Or Media-Based. Acoustic Work/Sound Installations As Well As Work/Installations With Water Are Excluded. A Total Of Eur 330,000 Including Vat Is Available To Honor The Artistic Achievements And The Realization Of Up To Two Art-In-Architecture Projects. The Competition Is Carried Out As A Non-Open, Two-Stage Implementation Competition With An Upstream, Europe-Wide Open Application Process. In The First Stage, 11 Participants And Two Runners-Up Will Be Selected For The Second Stage Of The Competition. The Second Stage Is Anonymous.
